Each holiday villa at Trewhiddle will be owned by a fractional ownership company, legally set up like any other company and its internal rules will be set out in its Articles of Association.
Trewhiddle holiday villa purchasers legally own a share within the fractional ownership company that owns the villa, so instead of spending hundreds of thousands of pounds purchasing a holiday home, that in reality you will only use for five or six weeks of the year; a fractional ownership share starts from £54,950 + VAT and entitles you to an eighth share (equating to six weeks) in a Trewhiddle Villa.
Fractional ownership is not timeshare. Purchasers will be entitled to a number of weeks stay at the property per year. The entitlement of weeks will be dependent on the size of share they own and the shares can be sold, left in a will or placed in trust.
The allocation of weeks will be based on a rotational booking system, allowing you fair access during peak demand periods. The weeks run from 3pm to 10am Saturday to Saturday.
